Acquiring burial plots in Israel

Signature Burial Locations in Israel

Dignity. Heritage. Eternal Connection

At our company, we are honored to maintain strong working relationships with the Ministry of Religious Services in Israel. Through these relationships, we are able to assist families in acquiring burial plots in nearly any cemetery across Israel that accommodates international families and foreign residents.

However, while access is broad – our focus is intentional.

We have carefully selected a group of signature cemeteries that represent the highest standards of location, spiritual significance, beauty, accessibility, and long-term value.

These are places that reflect not only Jewish tradition – but legacy.

Why We Focus on Signature Cemeteries ?

We believe families deserve more than access.

They deserve:

  • Clear guidance
  • Carefully vetted locations
  • Transparent cost structures
  • Long-term value
  • Spiritual and emotional significance

Each of our signature cemeteries was selected because it represents a distinct expression of Israel’s landscape and Jewish heritage:

  • Jerusalem – Eternal capital
  • Maale Adummim – Jerusalem proximity – Smart value
  • Haifa – Sea and mountain harmony
  • Tiberias – Rabbinic and Kinneret legacy
  • Nitzan – Mediterranean Coast – Open horizon and serenity
  • Rishon Lezion – Central Israel proximity

Burial in Israel was always considered a great privilege and one of the highest honors a Jew could ask.

Burial Plot Acquisition in Israel —
Step-by-Step Guide

Dignity.

Heritage.

Eternal Connection

Step 01

Intro Call & Understanding Your Needs (Indicative Quotes)

We start with a short conversation to get to know each other and understand exactly what you’re looking for, such as:

  • Preferred city/region (Jerusalem / Haifa / Tiberias / Coastal / Central Israel, etc.)
  • Cemetery preferences (signature locations, scenery, proximity to family, religious/community considerations)
  • Budget range and timeline
  • Any special requests (adjacent plots, accessibility, specific section type)

Based on your preferences, we provide indicative quotes and explain the main options that fit your goals.

Step 02

Choosing the Cemetery and Specific Area (Final Quote)

Once you select the cemetery, and the specific area/section within the cemetery, we confirm availability and provide a final quote reflecting the exact selection.

This step ensures you know precisely what you’re purchasing and what the total cost includes.

Step 03

Signing the Purchase Agreement + Power of Attorney (POA)

To move forward, you sign two key documents:

– Purchase Agreement

This is for a specific burial plot (not a general reservation). It outlines the plot details, the terms, and what is included.

– Power of Attorney (POA)

The POA authorizes us to act on your behalf in Israel to acquire the plot directly from the cemetery and complete the required formalities—especially helpful for clients abroad.

Step 04

Payment

After documents are signed, payment is made according to the purchase agreement.

We confirm receipt and proceed immediately to complete the acquisition with the cemetery.

Step 05

Ownership Deed Issued by the Cemetery

Once the cemetery completes the registration, you receive an official ownership deed, signed by the cemetery, confirming that the burial plot has been acquired and registered in your name (or the designated owner’s name).

This deed is your key proof of ownership.

Step 06

At Time of Passing: Notify Us for Transport & Logistics Support

When the plot owner passes away, your family or representatives notify us so we can assist with logistics, including:

  • Coordinating transport arrangements
  • Helping manage required documentation and local procedures
  • Liaising with relevant parties to ensure a smooth, respectful process
